My Faith Assistant brings 24/7 guidance, sermons, and live streams to users’ phones
ATLANTA — A metro Atlanta ministry is breaking new ground by combining faith with technology.
Leading the Way Ministries has introduced an artificial intelligence platform called My Faith Assistant, designed to answer spiritual questions and provide on-demand sermons and live streams directly on users’ smartphones.
Dr. Michael Youssef, founder of Leading the Way Ministries, emphasized the importance of embracing technology rather than fearing it.
“We shouldn’t be afraid of technology,” he said, explaining that the ministry has always aimed to leverage every tool available to promote the Gospel worldwide.
The app covers a wide range of topics, from divorce to transgender issues, and even addresses unexpected questions, such as the biblical perspective on cremation.
Unlike typical internet bots, the responses are rooted in scripture, and human assistance is available if needed.
“Everything can be good or bad. A knife can cut a person or can cut bread. In the same way, technology can be used for evil, but it can also be used for good,” Dr. Youssef explained, emphasizing the ministry’s thoughtful approach to digital outreach.
Since its launch, My Faith Assistant has attracted nearly 57,000 users in just a few months and plans to expand globally, making spiritual guidance more accessible than ever.
