USB ports provide no power!! I just completed my new monitors on the wall build, complete with stereo speakers, 4k monitor on top for watching media (movies, streaming, etc) and this monitor on bottom for that great ultra wide real estate it provides to boost productivity in the office. Excellent monitor for software development I bought an LG 34WL500 from Bestbuy at good price, but the rez was 2560×1080 – just a bit too low as there was ghosting and blurriness around text.Bought new LG 34WN80C-B with 3440×1440 rez and the image is much sharper, more defined, has better contrast, and is a lot brighter.Monitor out-of-box has no defects or light-bleed.The USB-C is very useful as it charges my MBP so there is no need for plugging into a charger.The height of the stand is also a plus as this monitor…
Not for gaming The picture is excellent, but the refresh rate is only 60 Hz. If you are planning on playing any higher end games with this, you are going to see screen tear no matter how good your graphics card is.
