Not “Fresh”. Fresh roasted beans outgas. Here’s a tip to know how fresh roasted beans are: draw the air out of the bag thru the one way valve until the bag is tight around the beans. Freshly roasted beans will continue to outgas and the bag will “loosen” around the beans. These did not. Attached is the bag of dark roast beans that arrived 5 days ago, I removed the air then, and it’s still the same, no outgas at all. Stale beans. Can I return this coffee? I like a strong,flavorful cup of coffee-nothing weak or watered down. I love espresso roasts with milk, but I also love a good light roast. I want to be wowed by my morning Cup, but I was not at all impressed with this Go forThe Bold. Sure itâs a dark roast, but just totally lacking in flavor. It could be side of the road diner coffee for all the flavor it has. I wish I could send it back. And now i doubt Iâll try the other AmazonFresh coffees.
so disappointing! Wow, this coffee has almost no flavor. Initially, the beans did not even really have much aroma. The first batch was very bland, Folger’s was better. So I left in the newly purchased fancy container with CO2 release and a week later, it smelled better. So, I tried a second batch and again, really no flavor.
