Very solid laptop with 17″ Screen I just received this HP laptop and was pretty impressed with it from the get go. The construction is durable aluminum and is aesthetically pleasing. The keyboard is laid out perfectly and the buttons are also aluminum so not bulky or clumsy. The 17″ Screen is a bit bigger than my last laptop, a 15″ Sony VAIO (which lasted me seven or eight years and had a blu-ray drive) but I like the 17″ screen better than my old VAIO, especially when streaming Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video. This laptop likes to sleep The laptop is nice looking, but it has a major issue. It constantly turns off and goes into sleep mode. I have looked for every kind of help on this issue, but nothing has worked so far. If I stop working for even a minute, it powers down and goes into sleep mode and then I need to go through the log in process to get back to my work. Wonderful computer This is a marvelous computer to work with. It is fast, with a sharp image, and works wonders for me. Video response is excellent, and the functionality I use it for most, it is near perfect. I have no complaints, so far, and I am delighted with it. Battery life is longer than my working day, even when there are several programs open, including a browser running video, such as You-Tube tutorials. I would recommend this tool to anyone.
