Hamilton Beach says this is aluminum when you call This is aluminum, I called Hamilton Beach because I was suspicious that it was aluminum and not stainless as advertised they confirmed it is definitely aluminum only stainless steel color. If you want stainless steel do not buy. Amazon gave me my money back when I let them know this even though the return date was up
Handle broke off on 2nd use Bought this product to use for my wife’s work training’s. Worked great the first time and then it broke the second time after a couple of people filled their coffee cups. The little plastic nub that attaches the handle to the plunger assembly sheered off. I wish they would have used some sort of steel roll pin to make connection.
very good for price, I like these a lot, the only thing I will say is they are a bit loud during the brew and that is why star rating not a 5. We are using 4 of these and got them in lieu of bigger ones so we could lift them full or empty with one person and clean easily in a smaller sink. It was worth it. It’s the perfect size and for the price I don’t think you can do better
