No, no you don’t have to became a Youtuber to have this gimbal as long as you want to have a smooth view-able videos for memories. I want to have view-able videos to record every moment from my kid but don’t want to break the bank, and this thing fits me right!This Gimbal works well with my S9+ & S7edge phones and the built quality is solid. The setup is pretty easy and straight forward. But make sure set the phone to the balance point every time before you start up the gimbal (Watch youtube for more tutorial). It also has 3 setting mode which are locked / half-follow mode & full follow mode depends of your shooting desired. Great product for beginners I’ve recently started making online videos so I’ve been gathering some tools to make it easier and look better. This is my new favorite toy! I can get nice, smooth shots, even when I’m running. I bought this one because it’s on the low end of the price spectrum, I’m still learning so I wasn’t prepared to make a huge investment.It comes already assembled, you just turn on your Bluetooth and balance it. I played with it for a couple hours after I got it, it takes some practice to get used to how it moves, but it’s fun to play with so it wasn’t frustrating to learn. The buttons are all smooth and quiet, so is the motor so you don’t hear it working in the background. It moves so smooth and you can bounce around quite a bit while maintaining a steady shot. It’s a really cool tool for the price, it makes a significant difference
