  1. Buyer beware: old, maybe leftover stock This product did not work well with our Food Saver device. Yes it sealed, but it did not vacuum seal. From what I can gather, what we received (and likely what we ordered) is very old stock (8 years) which is why it does not work as expected. I say stick with buying local or understand that what you are paying for is not the latest and greatest product.We bought another box of Food Saver bags yesterday (1/3/18) at our local Walmart and they work great.   2. Very possibly conterfiet bags I don’t believe these are really the name brand Food Saver bags. They seem to be lighter weight, the dimples are a different design, they came in a plain brown box, they had a paper obviously off a cheap printer saying they were really Food Saver bags, The tape on the bags was a different color than all my 10 year’s of using Food Saver bags have used, and they were very loosely wrapped and taped.
