Love them for travel Love the packaging on these as they are great for travel. They do not come in the cup as you find in grocery stores. They are individual packet and you have to measure the water and cook in a bowl in microwave.Yes they are not healthy. But when traveling and you have a picky child these are a life savers.
I buy these because I like the convenience factor I buy these because I like the convenience factor. I like that I can make a single serving (instead of a whole box). I usually add some sour cream or cottage cheese to the finished product to up the creamy factor.One thing to note: don’t leave the cooked macaroni in the microwave for too long. The macaroni will absorb all the liquid (necessary for making the sauce) and your mac and cheese won’t be as creamy. Still tasty, but the sauce will be clumpy.
Monitor and adjust your time accordingly. I purchased the Easy Mac 18 individual packs, not the bowls. This is the perfect size for a side item. I am using a home microwave of 1100 watts to heat up this product in a medium size bowl. The package instructions say to use 2/3 cup of water, and heat for 3 1/2 minutes. Two minutes with an average home microwave of 1100 watts is plenty. Unless you use a large bowl you will need to watch for the water to keep it from bowling over in the microwave.
