It gets cold. So there’s that. Wasn’t hard to setup and install, but the instructions for the window kit make very little sense. My unit came with three plastic slides, each being 27.5″ long. For easier reference, I’ll call the slide with the vent hole in it slide A. There’s also a slide that fits inside slide A, which I’ll call slide B. And then there’s a slide C, which is equivalent to slide A, but with no hole.The installation instructions say the kit will fit windows from 20.5″ to 59″. It also…
Piece of junk The exhaust hose is too bulky. The instructions warn not to have hard angles in the tube, so it can’t be put against the wall, it has to be in the middle of the room or the hose will heat up. If you try to move the unit at all, the exhaust pipe will pop right off the window fixture. The window fixture has huge gaps in it allowing light and air from outside into the room. The hose is so opaque it allows all the light into the room from the street and it glows brightly creating a night light…
good unit and works well I read how loud it was. I can say it is quieter then the window unit we had. Yes the hose gets hot, but that is normal for such a unit .If you understand how a A/c works then you know this is normal. .
