Much better than what I had been using For 13-gallon kitchen bags, I had been using Glad. Lately there have been lots of problems with those ripping, even being torn right out of the box. I’ve also never liked the way you have to stretch the Glad bag at the top to get them over the rim of a 13-gallon container. Because there were so many torn bags last time, I decided to try something else. I found these. The first thing I noticed was that these fit easily over the rim of the 13-gallon container. The bags do not need to be stretched. I then compared the circumference at the top for the two bags. The circumference for the Hefty is 5 inches more than the Glad. No wonder it easily fits onto the container. I then compared the weight on my not-so-precise electronic postal scale that only measures to within .2 ounces. Excellent! I really like these trash bags. I like the fact that they are strong and have no stretch in them, they are just large. There is also no “odor protector” which I prefer as I do not like how the ones with odor protector feel. I am very happy with this product.
