Good video, set up issues- follow up reviews at bottom Received CAM-WNR2P-OU same day order. Have had 3 days.Little vague on set up directions but intuitive and was able to do. Problem was it did not work the first several attempts and I did not know if it was user error or other problem. Kept doing same thing and it did work after several tries. Then it got unplugged and took several attempts to get hooked back up.Installed: I like the video, sound is ok most the time. Viewing on my iPhone using ap works good. You do need to Turn off ap each time you get out or when you go back you are no longer live. Was able to take snap shots and video to phone. Just got my sd card and it is very easy to access recordings picked up from motion. I am not sure what will happen when the sd card is full. Will it loop or will I need to pull and clear? Unless I want to save and it does not loop I will just reformat disc so I do not have to remove. Camera did get unplugged again when I installed card. I did have to reset and install…
Only a one qualm. Good product overall. UPDATE:I have had the camera for a while now and am still happy with it’s performance, the only qualm I have is this; you cannot connect it to the DVR. If there was the ability to connect it to either the DVR or to import it into the Night Owl HD app so you can view interior AND exterior cameras at the same time, I would be buying more of these. Sadly that isn’t possible as of yet. I’m still happy with Night Owl based on their value but lately I find myself gravitating towards more versatile (if not slightly more expensive) systems.I have Night Owl security products for my home in the states, I’m currently living abroad and needed something. I picked up this add on camera and was immediately impressed. It’s just as good of quality as my regular cameras. It was easy to set up and it has a very wide angle of view. I was able to replace a PTZ camera with this because of said angle. The versatility is also a plus as you can position it to view almost any area.
Wireless camera fail and horrible customer service Even after a replacement, the camera did not work. I contact Night Owl and they we’re not able to assist me. They promised to have someone contact us within 24 hours. No call back from Night Owl. The second attempt was from 3-way call with Amazon rep on the line with Night Owl. They couldn’t help the camera get connected after disconnecting and following instructions. Night Owl wasn’t able to assist again. They promised a call back to resolve the issues within 48 and then another 48 hours after a second call. I was also provided a ticket number. When attempting to call Night Owl once again they said the call was at 2nd level now, whatever that means. It has not been 2 weeks. I am returning the cameras. Night Owl customer service is horrible and not help at all. They do not have all the glitches down for these Wireless Cameras.
