The company will not back their claims. We loved the product at first. But after a hard shot to the backboard a year after purchase, it shattered. It was supposed to be shatter-proof and came with a lifetime warranty. However, after I called the company to get a replacement backboard, I was given several hoops to jump through. Pictures and order info should have been enough. They made it so difficult that I guess they were hoping I would just purchase a new one. Worth It! I have had this hoop for over 3 years. This is what I’ve noticed…ASSEMBLY- FAIRLY EASYYou will probably need multiple people to help you put it together and stick it in the cement. It takes quite a bit of time for the whole process but it is definitely worth it. The product comes with everything you need to assemble it besides the cement. All the nuts fit perfectly. Great hoop for money I was a bit skeptical buying an in-ground hoop that was so cheap. But the Lifetime brand has a good rep. Setup was easy, instructions are easy to follow. I setup the hoop in about 3.5 hours, including the time to install the base in concrete. 6 bags of quickrete. I set this up solo, which for the most part is no big deal. Just went slow lifting whole thing up. You should probably have one other person for the last step, lifting the whole assembly onto the bottom pole. It is pretty heavy…
