Not exactly Highlander Groggs, but perfect in it’s own way. As some have said, it does have a coconut-like aroma. I think this is mostly before you grind the coffee though. After the coffee is ground, I don’t smell coconut so much anymore. The coffee doesn’t taste or smell at all like coconut after it’s brewed either. Highlander Grogg not Coffee Bean Direct’s Best I tried unsuccessfully to make this coffee bean work. Understanding that you have to process certain beans differently, this Highlander Grogg tasted like water no matter what I did. Bad smell and HORRIBLE aftertaste I got this because I love hazelnut coffee, I was hoping it would still taste good at the low price point but that was not the case at all. I brewed a pot of hot coffee freshly ground before work, the coffee had a very bitter taste with a sour chemical like flavor as an after taste.
