DONT BUY THE PAPERBACK!! ITS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE HARDBACK! DO NOT BUY THE PAPERBACK FROM PEARSON INDIA!! This textbook is TECHNICALLY the same as the hardcover. However, it is not the same at all. The glossary is in the front…not a big deal but it will throw you off. I didn’t notice other differences until I started comparing mine to the hard covers texts my class mates had. ENTIRE chapters are different. Some aren’t even in this book. If not don’t waste your money This book was advertised with the mastering microbiology access card which it did not come with. Before placing your orders look at the product to see if it does come with one. If not don’t waste your money. These books aren’t cheap.
Don’t rent unless you want a DIY project Not impressed at all. The spine was extreamly beat up and 2 inches of the bottom was ripped off. I literally unwrapped the book and opened the cover and what little was holding the cover to the pages split off. Then a month in or so when i couldn’t avoid it and actually had to read a chapter, the pages that were attached to whatever was left of the brittle seperated spine started coming off.
