Shea butter weighed a little under a pound. I was surprised that the butter didn’t have a container (arrived in a clear plastic bag), but I could certainly get beyond that because I think that there is too much waste in packaging: however, I was really disappointed to weigh the shea butter on my kitchen scale, to find that it wasn’t quite a pound! Seems to me that a company would rather sell a bit over instead of a bit under—better for business that way.
Great quality I’ve been ordering shea butter for about two years and this has to be the best quality I’ve gotten. I haven’t found shea butter of this quality for such a good price. Its all ivory, no other colors in it. It’s not gritty and its hard but melts on contact with your skin and becomes creamy. After I used it my skin instantly looked smooth and healthy. I don’t know why people keep complaining about the smell here thats what raw and unrefined shea butter is supposed to smell like. If it doesn’t have an earthy or slightly nutty smell then you don’t have good shea butter. If you don’t want the smell than buy refined shea butter, but you wont have any of the vitamins or healing properties that it’s known for. I will definitely be purchasing all my shea butter from this seller from now on.
A lil chunk of Shea Butter Heaven:-) Wow, this product smells wonderful..to me the scent is like a light cocoa butter. (looks just like the advertised picture, came in bags shown sealed) Melts quite easily to warmth of your skin, not too oily just creamy and smooth! Luv luv luv it and will repeat order. Maybe return soon to add another star after I have fun finding ways to mix and use. This is my 1st time ordering this item so took a chance. So far so good! *(excuse the ink stains i used a pen to cover the barcode too many hackers out here!! lol!)
