From Hiker to Hipster… unfortunately. These are really great boots, but not for hiking. They are very well made in America, the waterproofing is great, and letâs face it, they just look cool. While these boots are indeed great quality and look wonderful While these boots are indeed great quality and look wonderful, I have to at this point agree with many reviewers of similar Danner Mountain boots that there is a design flaw with the tongue where the folds of the leather dig into the top of your foot.
