There’s a good chance you were in the company of Olympic royalty in Marietta on Tuesday.
MARIETTA, Ga. — If you happened to show up to Atlanta Ice House on Tuesday, there’s a good chance you were in the graces of Olympic royalty.
That’s because United States Olympic figure skater Isabeau Levito shocked fellow skaters at the Marietta ice rink when they discovered it was the 2024 World Silver Medalist, 2023 U.S. Champion and 2026 U.S. Olympian figure skater who made up one-third of “The Blade Angels” — which included herself and gold medal winners Alysa Liu and Amber Glenn.
Atlanta Figure Skating Club took to Instagram to show off some of its skaters who grabbed a photo with Levito.
“What an amazing SURPRISE! Thank you Isabeau for making this a memorable day for our AFSC skaters!”
Levito made headlines during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics during her debut skate which talked about her mother being born in Milan, Italy, and Isabeau making her first Olympic appearance in her mom’s hometown — and from which she is of Italian descent.
She also went viral during an interview days before her debut, telling media that she can’t be evicted from the Olympic village due to all the fun she had already had leading up to that point.
