ATLANTA — The music from the Grammy-winning girl group Destiny’s Child is being reimagined for an exclusive concert.
The iconic trio’s music has been arranged for an instrumental experience that will travel to six cities, including Atlanta.
Hits like “Say my name,” “Independent Woman,” and “Survivor” are just a few of the songs that have been arranged for an intimate performance by a string quartet surrounded by thousands of lit candles.
The father of Beyoncé, one of the members, sat down with 11Alive to talk about this unique tribute, saying it was a way to answer the fans’ requests.
“The fans of Destiny’s Child have been really, really patient, but asking for something, give us something, so part of this was also giving back to the fans of Destiny’s Child,” said Mathew Knowles.
