The “Kirkland Signature x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS” shoes have plenty of details for diehard Costco customers.
WASHINGTON — Without any warning, Costco launched a collaboration sneaker with Nike for die-hard Kirkland Signature fans.
The “Kirkland Signature x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS” sneakers come in “Grey Fog” to match the brand’s popular hoodie. The Kirkland logo is sewn on the heel and tongue, while the inner tongue tag is modeled after Costco shopping labels.
The sole has another Kirkland Signature logo. The sneakers also comes with a removable tag replicating Costco’s Executive Membership card, and multiple sets of laces, according to Women’s Wear Daily. WWD also said there’s a hidden label for Costco’s iconic $1.50 hot dog beneath the sole.
They sold for $134.99 and had a limit of one pair per member, according to customers.
The limited release was not sold online and only made it to a handful of Costco locations across the country, according to USA Today.
The shoes are already being resold online for roughly $350 on the marketplace StockX, according to Business Insider.
It’s unclear how many shoes total were sold or whether there would be more coming for locations that were not included in this surprise drop.
Neither Costco nor Nike issued a statement about the drop.
