A junior at Central High School in Little Rock has made a perfect score on the ACT.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock School District is celebrating one of its juniors from Central High School who made a Perfect Score on the ACT.
Officials stated that Shangyu Wu earned a perfect 36 on the standardized test.
“We’re so proud of the hard work behind this milestone and excited to see what’s ahead!” an official said.
The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science, each scored on a 1–36 scale. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.
The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures what students have learned in school.
Students who earn a 36 composite score have likely mastered the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in first-year college courses across core subject areas.
ACT scores are accepted by all major four-year colleges and universities across the US.
