‘Sinners’ star Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen welcome their new baby

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld announced they’ve had their baby.

They made the announcement on Steinfeld’s ‘Beau Society’ blog Thursday morning:

 Our baby girl has arrived!!

We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring [sic] these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.

No specific details about the baby or her name have been released yet. 

A couple week ago, Steinfeld shared new photos from her baby shower.

The actress shared details from her California backyard celebration on her Substack. The theme was “Mother Goose.”

Steinfeld said her mom planned the “gorgeous” day, complete with Gingham decor, a knitting station, and about 30 close friends and family. Guests also brought books for the baby.

Back on Dec. 12 last year, Steinfeld and Allen announced to the world through her newsletter that they were expecting their first child, marking a new chapter in their lives. That newsletter was innocuous enough to start, reflecting on her 29th birthday and reflecting on how great her life has been.

She said “28 was wild, beautiful, humbling, and full of the kind of moments that sneak up and change you quietly.”

After that, Steinfeld made a list of things she appreciated. It was when you scroll to the bottom when you got the breaking news, through a 28-second video, that she was pregnant.

Steinfeld will be busy during awards season as an expectant mother. Last year she starred in “Sinners,” a horror film that was produced, written, and directed by Ryan Coogler. It went on to become one of the most-nominated films at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, earning seven nominations.
