Six Flags is offering free 2026 admission for kids ages 3–5 with its Pre-K Pass, available with a paid adult pass at select parks.
WASHINGTON — Theme park season is finally here, and for some families, the youngest visitors can get in for free.
Six Flags announced a limited-time “Pre-K Pass” that gives children ages 3 to 5 free, unlimited admission for the entire 2026 season at 22 participating parks across North America.
The offer, available April 22 through May 31, is aimed at helping families save money while still enjoying a full season of rides, shows and water park attractions.
“At a time when families are watching their budgets very closely, the Pre‑K Pass provides real value while helping create a season full of fun experiences kids and parents will remember for years,” said Christian Dieckmann, the company’s chief commercial officer, in a statement.
The deal isn’t quite as simple as just showing up at the gate. Families must already have a paid 2026 season pass or membership, including Silver, Gold or Prestige tiers, to qualify. From there, parents or guardians can register online and activate the pass in person at a park by the end of May. A birth certificate or passport is required to verify the child’s age.
There is a limit of two Pre-K passes per paid pass or membership.
Once activated, eligible kids can visit participating parks as often as they want throughout the season.
The pass is valid at a mix of amusement parks and water parks, including major destinations like Cedar Point in Ohio, Carowinds in North Carolina and Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.
Children ages 2 and under already receive free admission and do not need the pass.
The promotion does come with some restrictions. It does not include parking or special events, and it is not valid at certain parks, including Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
