Coweta Girl Scouts’ smile shines on new cookie boxes nationwide

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — For most Girl Scouts, cookie season means knocking on doors, setting up booths, and hoping customers come back for their favorites.

For Coweta County Girl Scout Brianna Ynfante Ferreira, this year came with an unforgettable surprise: her own face printed on the new Exploremores cookie box.

Brianna says she was “excited and surprised” when her family’s shipment of cookies arrived. 

The photo featured on the packaging was taken years earlier during a Girl Scouts photo shoot, and her image was selected after her local council submitted pictures to the national organization.

The new Exploremores cookie is a rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich filled with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond–flavored crème. 

The girls featured on the boxes are longtime Girl Scouts from Coweta, Cobb, and Fulton counties.

Alongside the new flavor, fan favorites like Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs are back for the 2026 season.

Cookie sales run through March, with booth sales beginning February 8th across metro Atlanta and Coweta County. All profits stay local, benefiting the girls and their troops while supporting council programs, camps, STEM expos, and leadership training.

Brianna says the attention has been fun and a little surreal.

Friends and customers have even asked her to autograph their boxes. Beyond the sweet treat, the cookie program teaches girls leadership, goal-setting, and entrepreneurial skills, lessons Brianna and her troop will carry with them long after cookie season ends.

What started as a simple photo shoot has now become a moment Brianna will never forget.
