The park said the aviary was compromised after a nearby tree uprooted during overnight storms.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Dollywood canceled all “Wings of America” shows for Sunday and Monday after an aviary suffered storm damage.
According to a social media post, a tree near Eagle Mountain Sanctuary was uprooted during the storms Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the tree “compromised” the aviary.

Dollywood did not mention whether any eagles were injured, but said American Eagle Foundation staff will remove and house the birds at its facilities until the netting on the enclosure is repaired.
The area near the aviary in the park is closed as necessary work is completed, in addition to the cancellation of Sunday and Monday’s shows, Dollywood said.
The 41st season at Dollywood has been a busy one as the park gets ready to unveil its latest attraction: NightFlight Expedition. The hybrid coaster and whitewater raft ride is scheduled to open later this spring.
On April 25 and 26, Dollywood will host a new race weekend called “Run Dollywood.” People can sign up to run a 5k, 10k or half-marathon through the park, or run in all three for a special race medal featuring a pink butterfly.
Also new in 2026 is an updated patriotic drone and fireworks show celebrating America’s semiquincentennial 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
