Some users reported Thursday they were having issues seeing Amazon prices, checking out and using the mobile app.
WASHINGTON — Thousands of Amazon users reported having issues with the e-commerce site on Thursday.
According to Downdetector, reports of the website being down began spiking around 2 PM ET. As of 3:45 ET, over there were more than 20,000 reports of the site being down.
On X, Amazon’s customer service account was responding to several users saying, “We’re sorry that some customers may be experiencing issues. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue.”
Users say there are issues with checkout, the mobile app and loading of product pages. Others report not being able to see prices of items or reviews on the site.
Amazon did not say how long they anticipate the outage to last.
Amazon’s issues comes days after Facebook reported having issues with its site.
