Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper with experience In the trucking industry preferred but not required. Experience in Payroll, A/R, A/P, Billing, QuickBooks and Registrations.
- Complies and sends purchase orders
- Creates and manages invoices internally and with customers.
- Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures
- Creates checks, refund requisitions etc, in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day management of all payment cycle activities and provide efficient client service
- A solid understanding of accounting and programs such as Quickbooks
- A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Communicates effectively with partnering trucking companies to assure smooth logistical transactions
- Communicate with internal and external clients
Requirements
- 1-2 years of office experience using Excel on a daily basis
- Data entry skills
- Diligence in documenting work and processes
- Ability to apply critical problem solving in a variety of situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of general accounting software, MS Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial record
