Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Lithonia, GA

Seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper with experience In the trucking industry preferred but not required. Experience in Payroll, A/R, A/P, Billing, QuickBooks and Registrations.

  • Complies and sends purchase orders
  • Creates and manages invoices internally and with customers.
  • Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures
  • Creates checks, refund requisitions etc, in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day management of all payment cycle activities and provide efficient client service
  • A solid understanding of accounting and programs such as Quickbooks
  • A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Communicates effectively with partnering trucking companies to assure smooth logistical transactions
  • Communicate with internal and external clients

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of office experience using Excel on a daily basis
  • Data entry skills
  • Diligence in documenting work and processes
  • Ability to apply critical problem solving in a variety of situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of general accounting software, MS Excel and Outlook
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial record
