LEGO and Pokémon unveil first-ever LEGO Pokémon sets

WASHINGTON — The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International are teaming up to release the first-ever LEGO Pokémon sets, bringing some of the franchise’s most iconic characters to life in brick form.

The highly anticipated collection will launch Feb. 27, 2026, with pre-orders opening today on LEGO.com/Pokemon and Pokémon Center. The debut wave includes five fan-favorite Pokémon: Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise.

The collaboration marks a major moment for fans of both brands, combining the popularity of LEGO collecting with Pokémon’s 30-year legacy. The first three sets will allow fans to recreate classic Pokémon scenes and display the characters in poseable designs.

As part of the collection, fans can purchase: 

• A LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball set that features a 2,050-piece build showing Pikachu leaping from a Poké Ball in a dynamic battle pose, complete with a lightning-themed base and hidden Easter eggs, including Pikachu’s Pokédex number.
• A LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set, one of LEGO’s largest display builds, with more than 6,800 pieces. The set includes the three Kanto starter evolutions with individual articulation and a shared action base inspired by each Pokémon’s biome.
• A LEGO Pokémon Eevee set that includes 587 pieces and features movable limbs, head and tail, allowing fans to pose the popular Pokémon in different positions. The set also supports LEGO’s Build Together app for group building.

In addition to the product launch, LEGO and Pokémon will host a digital scavenger hunt from Jan. 12 to Feb. 27, challenging fans to find hidden clues across LEGO and Pokémon platforms for a chance to win prizes, including a trip to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco.

Pokémon Center will also offer a gift with purchase starting Jan. 12, with shoppers receiving a LEGO Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection when pre-ordering the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set, while supplies last.
