Retail operations for the Stockbridge location have been moved to the Rex Post Office, located at 6450 Evans Drive.
ATLANTA — Retail operations at a metro Atlanta post office have come to a halt, according to the United States Postal Service.
In a statement, the agency announced that operations at the Stockbridge Post Office, located at 110 Walter Way, are temporarily suspended due to damage to the building.
Retail operations for the Stockbridge location have been moved to the Rex Post Office, located at 6450 Evans Drive.
Customers who use a P.O. Box at the Stockbridge location will be able to retrieve their mail and packages from the Rex facility, according to the agency. Customers should bring proper photo identification for mail and package pickups.
Management at the Stockbridge office is working to resume retail operations at the facility.
