Mars Inc. and Walt Disney Co. are teaming up on seven collectible M&M packs that will feature different M&M colors as Marvel superheroes.
WASHINGTON — As the Avengers prepare to assemble on movie screens in “Doomsday” later this year, fans will be able to celebrate with a sweet team-up in the candy aisle.
Virginia-based Mars Inc. has announced a collaboration with The Walt Disney Co. to release seven limited-edition Marvel superhero M&M packs.
The packs will be available in late January in select markets and will roll out globally throughout the year, with release in U.S. markets in March, Mars said in a news release Tuesday.
The mashups will feature the yellow M&M as Wolverine, red as Deadpool, blue as Daredevil, purple as Elektra, green as She-Hulk, brown as Yelena and orange as Red Guardian.
The packs will be available in several varieties of M&Ms: milk chocolate, peanut, peanut butter, crispy and milk chocolate minis.
“M&M’S and Marvel fans share a passion for characters and storytelling,” said Rankin Carroll, Mars chief branding officer, in the release. “This phase of our collaboration combines the best of both brands to deliver immersive experiences, content and new ways for fans to engage. By leading with what our consumers love, we’re inspiring fun, fandom and connection in a way only our two brands can.”
Mars said that that throughout 2026, they plan to release more crossover limited-edition products.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is scheduled for release on Dec. 18, 2026. Marvel has been promoting the film’s release by sharing teasers featuring characters expected to appear in the film. The latest teaser includes “The Fantastic Four” meeting up with other characters from the “Black Panther” movies.
