In Athens, A baby boy named Zahkari Nymir Hardy was born to Zantavia Armstead at 12:41 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and 2 ounces.
In Columbus, a couple welcomed their first child on the first day of the year. Baby Solani Alaina Williams was born to Destini Harper and Clyde Williams at 1:04 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds and 4 ounces.
