The recall covers promotional packages of M&M’s distributed in 20 states that contain undeclared milk, soy and peanut ingredients.
WASHINGTON — Several repackaged M&M’s products have been recalled over undeclared allergens, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in an online enforcement report.
Minnesota-based Beacon Promotions Inc. initiated the recall on Jan. 26, and the FDA classified it as a Class II recall on Feb. 4, meaning exposure to the products “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
The recalled products contain undeclared milk, soy and peanut, posing a risk to anyone with allergies to those ingredients, the FDA said.
These are not standard retail packages of M&M’s you would typically find on a store shelf. The recall covers several branded, repackaged M&M’s products labeled with various company and organization names. The recalled items include:
1.3-ounce repackaged M&M’s Peanut candies labeled “Make Your Mark” with lot M1823200 and a best-by date of April 30, 2026 (541 units).
1.3-ounce repackaged M&M’s labeled with promotional company names including Next Up, Subaru, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, Dropbox, Best Western, Liberty University Environmental Health & Safety, University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and others (5,788 units.) The lots include, L450ARCLV03 (12/1/2025), L502FLHKP01 (1/1/2026), L523CMHKP01 (6/30/2026), and L537GMHKP01 (9/1/2026).
