Shaky Knees at Piedmont Park is jam packed with major alternative and indie acts this year.
ATLANTA — The lineup was revealed Tuesday for this year’s Shaky Knees festival, featuring several major alternative and indie acts.
The three-day festival will take place September 18-20 at Piedmont Park.
The headliners include The Strokes for Friday (September 18), Twenty One Pilots for Saturday (September 19) and Gorillaz for Sunday (September 20).
Among the other big acts are Turnstile, Fontaines D.C. and Geese on Friday; Pierce the Veil, The Prodigy and Pavement on Saturday; and LCD Soundsystem and Wu-Tang Clan on Sunday.
Memorable names such as Santigold, Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday and Modest Mouse are also sprinkled in throughout the weekend.
Shaky Knees organizers said Tuesday that presale for tickets for the festival begins Thursday at 9 a.m. which will offer “access to guaranteed lowest price tickets for ONE HOUR ONLY!”
The general sale of tickets will follow.
