Even Better than DJI and Smooth Q Length:: 3:45 Mins If you find yourself searching for good informative reviews like I do, then take the time to read this. This gimbal cost $99 on the normal day. Upon receiving this, it came packaged extremely well. I actually prefer the Hohem carrying case over the other brands because of how low profile it is. It makes packing it in your camera bag easy. Or if you carry it on a trip, it isn’t going to be taking up a lot of space. Now the juicy stuff. The Gimbal it self. I have recorded plenty of videos and clips to be able to tell you that this gimbal actually feels like it has now limits. Seriously, when I want to turn the gimbal and put it as close to the ground as I can, it doesn’t fight me. When I want it to preform a sharp turn, it doesn’t spaz out. Its extremely responsive and just all round great buy for $99 or under. I’m not going to run down the specs of this device because they do a great job at listing everything above. And YES,…
Great for True Mobile Videographers, Casual video takers please read! I bought this product in hopes of using it to document a trip I was taking to NYC in addition to any and all future travels I might have. I would also like to note that I was influenced into this purchase partly by my experience with the Google Pixel 3 XL and it’s camera. I figured this pairing would be unbeatable in documenting my random travels around the city for 4 days, however, it fell short of my expectation. (This may not all be product related but also a matter of user error, keep reading)To start, it’s construction is top class. Solid materials give the gimbal a feel of “legitimacy” if you will. Connectivity was never an issue either. The gimbal supports and runs best with a 3rd party app and I had zero issues with app connectivity between the 2 devices. My issues with the gimbal came from some of the features outlined within the app. For example, object tracking was sometimes faulty and the camera (not sure if it was my phone or the software) would…
Initial Product Review Length:: 3:38 Mins The Hohem iSteadyMobile is a nifty little gimbal.Motionlapse and the hyperlapse features are really fun to play with. There are a few preferences I do wish were in the gimbal, but after a week of testing I would say the only complaints are with items that can be fixed by software updates. Such as:1) The calibration set up isn’t working for me – thankfully I know how to correct some of that manually for the time being.2) The lights on the side of the gimbal don’t light up for the mode you are in, which would be a great reference to double check the mode I thought I selected is actually the mode I’m in.However, it was a lot of fun to play with it, and it worked out really well when I needed to take a family photo over the holidays. I just set it up, adjusted the settings and had it start firing photos away. Simple as that.USKeyvision has also been great with customer support during the tests I was…
