CAREFUL- NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT I’ve been using the Bare Minerals Concealer/Summer Bisque daily for about a year – buying from Ulta or Sephora. I noticed that the packaging was a bit different (attached) but didn’t think much of it. I can say for certain that this is a different product – poor to no coverage and completely drying out my skin. Not sure if it’s old or a scam, but buyer beware!!However, if you come across it in Ulta or Sephora and it looks like the product to the left – it’s amazing – I have rosacea and just put a light layer of this on daily and it’s perfect – covers the rosacea and has eliminated acne issues that I had in my previous days of using layers and layers of foundation. 🙂
Amazing stuff – and I’m not a makeup person I have psoriasis/eczema on my scalp and face. (I say it like that because different doctors have told me different things – I fully realize they are not the same thing). I have a couple of different ways of managing it on my face, and this powder is one of them. I have no idea why, and I guess it really doesn’t matter. I’m assuming it probably has to do with making my face less oily or something. But when I use this regularly, my skin issues on my face go away faster and/or are kept at bay.In addition, the “concealer” product they have makes the redness on my face disappear! All without feeling like I have a ton of makeup on.
Best Multi tasker ever… use as highligher, concealer and the list goes on. I’ve been using Bare Minerals for at least 12 years now and I don’t have a single complaint about any of their products. They are non-comedogenic – they never clog pores nor cause breakouts. IT IS TRUE…YOU CAN SLEEP IN THIS MAKEUP. I love this stuff. It is sooooo lightweight and goes on easily. You can apply a light layer for that natural weekender look or you can apply a heavier layer for the dramatic look or for photos, evening or etc… It is very versatile and easy to use. I use nothing else. I use this as a concealer, a highlighter and around areas that I want to define i.e. I brush some Summer Bisque around my lipline and then line my lips. I keeps the liner from bleeding and gives great definition. I brush it above and below my eyebrows before I use an eyebrow pencil – it gives the right amount of highlight and base for defining your brows. I use it as a concealer for dark circles.
