Five Stars This was an impressive looking gift box. Was planning to give at as a sympathy gift for a friend but couldn’t resist and opened it, so now I’ll have to order it again. I have to say they were really good! Don’t regret having opened it because now I’m 100% sure she’ll enjoy them.
Cookie rather than biscotti Shipping and cookie texture explained: Since this product had such high ratings, I planned to order boxes for my friends, but there were some reviews and questions that wondered about the texture of the biscotti, so I ordered a small box for myself to try them. After seeing how the biscotti looked when I opened the box, and after trying them, I decided against buying this product. First, I can’t blame the vendor for the one cookie that was broken in half, or for some of the toppings coming loose on the others, because in my experience, Amazon has an issue with packaging carefully for shipment. In at least half of the orders I’ve gotten over many years, items of all shapes, weights and sizes are thrown into a box, then a few air pillows are added, but not enough to keep the contents from sliding around. Pleasant Surprise! I purchased this item as a sample to help me decide what I will be giving to friends and family in 2018 for special occasions. I was extremely pleased with both the presentation and the freshness of the biscotti. Iâve had some in the past that were so hard you could barely bite into them,….but these were just right. A nice mix of toppings too. Iâll be buying lots of these in the coming months. Reasonable price.
