REFORMULATED… 50% of what it once was. I have ordered probably 60+ of these over the past 4 years or so. It used to be the best product out there – but jars with a date 2017 or later have been reformulated. Heart-Breaking. The reformulation results in what was once a strong, hard wax being turned into a weak cream. Hold, definition, and volume have decreased dramatically. For men that don’t want the wet look If you want your hair to hold and maintain pliability through the day, look no further. Your hair will have a nice dry look while holding whatever hairstyle you have. I get compliments often on my hair because it doesn’t look like there’s any product in it. I’ve been using this stuff since before they redesigned the can. It’s like Boys 2 Men- Not too hard, but not too soft.
Very sticky all the way to the end of the day The good news is that it holds your hair and doesn’t have that wet, gel, shine effect. It’s not invisible though. It does sort of thicken up your hair (maybe that’s what you want?). The problem is that it leaves a sticky residue in your hair and if you touch your hair anytime throughout the day, it gets on your hands.
