- Eco-Drive is fueled by light so it never needs a battery. Analog quartz watches are powered by a step motor that uses a magnet. Subjecting the watch to strong magnetism from the outside can cause the motor to operate improperly and prevent the watch from keeping time accurately.

A must have for any watch collection or watch lover Awesome watch! this is a LOVE/HATE watch people say its ugly and people say beautiful Lol I think its cool looking keeps time just as good as my other Citizen’s and its white face is awesome to look with the creepy blue like LED hands” I simply just love it. The band is sturdy well made and attractive so I changed it to military green band in order to preserve the original band. I have showered and taken it for a dip in the bay No issues. This is NOT a dive watch. I got it in the Citizen box…
Beautiful watch, 4-4.5 stars This watch shows what Citizen used to be. Beautiful, accurate and clean looking with attention to detail. The watch face is beautiful and the band is very good. The functionality as a watch only is also very, very good. It’s functionality as a teller of international time is not that of the radio controlled watches but it still works just fine. It just uses the old fashioned method that take a tiny bit of work and thought.Unfortunately, I ended up grudgingly returning this…
The watch is as advertised. I have had it … The watch is as advertised. I have had it for a week and it keeps accurate time and is visually attractive. The operating instructions, however, are awful. Example: “To adjust the watch’s band, take it to a jeweler”. When in fact all you have to do is unsnap the pin clasp and move it into whatever hole you choose. There are also no guideless for utilizing the world time function nor for how to synchronize the day/date/AM-PM dials causing a lot of time spent in trial and error.
