Works fine, but hugely flawed design The outlets themselves work well enough, but the design itself is terrible. First of all, the spacing between the sockets is way too small. Because of this, it is impossible to plug any more than two things into the unit at once if you’re dealing with abnormally-shaped plugs. Secondly, why they decided to put the USB ports directly underneath the sockets is beyond me. I had to plug things in upside-down just so I could still use the USB charging ports. Finally, the “optional” anchoring screw is very tough to remove. I had to literally hammer it out of the unit, as it is attached with a small piece of plastic at the end which prevents it from screwing out. Check out the picture to see what I’m talking about. All in all, buy a different unit without so many design flaws.
Explosive! Mine blew up’! Very scary!
Saves me headaches This was a great purchase! It has saved me a lot of headaches. The only suggestion I would have would be… in the center of all electrical outlets is a screw, I believe they could include a screw, instead of the plastic (I included a picture), to hold this better in the wall. If you’re not careful or use a little too much force, I have a rough boys in my house, you can pull the whole thing out. I did not however I think this was enough to give it less than five stars.
