With a long history of making burly, American-made boots, Danner has become synonymous with quality, and the Women’s Stumptown Light Boots are no exception to this tradition. Their full-grain leather upper with 1000-denier nylon side panels is tough enough to handle rugged trails in the Pacific Northwest, but still looks great when you’re hoofing it downtown for a pint of your favorite IPA. Danner’s Dri-Lex lining keeps your feet dry and comfortable when the temperatures climb, while the Airthotic footbed offers a surprising amount of comfort for a boot with this rugged of a build. A fiberglass shank give the boots a rigid and supportive feel in steep terrain, while the Vibram sole delivers exceptional durability.

Believe they may be factory seconds, but I’m keeping them As my headline states, I’m pretty sure these are factory seconds. I actually ordered a pair of these boots from Danner that arrived yesterday but I ordered the 11’s and needed a 10. Being a woman whose feet are 10.5’s, it’s always a toss up if a brand fits me better in a 10 or an 11 so it’s a chance I take on the regular.I got the 11’s directly from Danner and had a chance to thouroughly inspect them and try them on, finding them to be too long for my feet. I immediately went to Amazon to…
These shoes are amazing! I didn’t think I could fall in love … These shoes! These shoes are amazing! I didn’t think I could fall in love with a shoe, but I have. They do need a little break in around the ankle, but the rest of the shoe is perfect right out of the box. I’ve added some gel inserts to the sole as I found that the impact can be a bit jarring if you’re wearing them on pavement. Surprisingly, or not so surprisingly, these shoes are most comfortable on a dirt path/ wood trail. Something about the way the earth fits into the grooves on the sole…
Great quality. Worth every penny. A few thoughts after owning these for almost a year:They are durable. I have a physically demanding job, and there is hardly any structural wear on them at all. These boots will last for years. Very high quality boots. They are narrow. Depending upon your foot, this can be a pro or con. The boot hugs and supports the middle of the foot and fits well at the heel, but the toe box feels a bit narrow for my foot. I will look into a half size larger next time, should I buy…
