The black diamonds in this item are semi-faceted and natural. These black diamonds qualify as rose-cut or diamond accents. The black diamonds in this jewelry item are of not of gem quality, and contain varying number of facets from 0 to 16. Natural black diamonds are rare. Dazzlingrock sells only heat treated black diamonds, treated with the High Pressure Heat Treatment (HPHT) method. She Said Yes My (now) fiancee loves all things black and sparkly, so I figured this would be the perfect ring for her once I saw it. The ring took a while for processing, but delivery was quick and it arrived with plenty of time to spare before my proposal. She loved it and has not stopped showing it off. But keep in mind that the product pictures are enlarged to show detail, so it appears a bit larger than it really is. It’s still a beautiful ring, though.
