The quality had always been very good. Sam’s I had been purchasing Diamond Walnuts from my local Sam’s Club for years in these 2 pound bags. The quality had always been very good. Sam’s, this year, quit selling Diamond and started selling their own brand. The quality was not so good with their own brand. Excellent product if you need volume and convenience I really enjoy walnuts, and shelling them can be an enjoyable activity in a social setting. However, for cooking purposes you really don’t want to spend hours cracking and picking walnuts. The Diamond shelled walnuts are perfect when you need your walnuts in volume (cookies, brownies) or conveniently (ice cream, great addition to oatmeal, etc.). The product is fresh and consistent. In terms of value these are generally comparable in price to the local supermarkets and sometimes even better.
