Combining the Inspire 2 with the separately available X4S and X5S gimbal cameras yields cinema-grade images, which can be recorded in high bit rates using H.264 and H.265 formats, or, in the case of the X5R, various flavors of Apple ProRes and CinemaDNG raw using the required licenses available from DJI. All the recording functionality is processed by the Inspire 2’s CineCore 2.0 image processing engine.
To meet the highest professional filmmaking standards, the Zenmuse X7 uses an S35 image sensor, offering 6K CinemaDNG RAW and a wide dynamic range of up to 14 stops. The X7 also introduces the DL-Mount, the world’s first integrated aerial lens mount that allows for switching between four available prime lenses quickly and easily. With five 480 GB CINESSDs, eight Intelligent Flight Batteries for extended flight time, and the powerful combination of Cendence and CrystalSky, the Inspire 2 Cinema Premium Combo is all you need for masterful aerial cinematography.

This drone is great. Expensive as all get out but YES; you get what you pay for. One setback is 3rd party vendors trying to get accessories like the lens. I purchased the X5S and was told the license keys were included for Apple ProRes and CinemaDNG. They were clueless and could only confirm that after purchase and weeks of emails. DJI customer support is good but they don’t have extended windows of opportunity to chat. All in all, I’m glad I bought the bird.”~MERLIN · Reviewed on Best Buy
yes, its more money than the I-1, but well worth the upgrade IMHO. I crashed my Inspire 1 and was disappointed they no longer made them, so i bit the bullet and went for the newer bird. WHAT AN UPGRADE! The software is better and easier to manage. The double battery give you longer flight time and redundancy. Its bigger now – so your current I-1 case won’t work. There’s not a darn thing wrong with the I-1 – I love that bird, but I am very happy I upgraded.
Inspire 2 This is a solid UAS, DJI makes a really reliable drone. It has the ability to accept different cameras for different shots, and has a great flight time of 30 mins.
