I am a working make-up artist in the film industry, 10 years ago while working on a film set my actors started having multiple reactions to skin care products, makeup products and special effects makeup chemicals. I started searching for cosmetics that were cleaner, with no petrochemicals and without the harsh skin irritants. That also had the high performance for treatments of skin conditions and anti-aging. Not easy to find! I was introduced to silver carp collagen. After researching this amazing new ingredient and its benefits to our skin and health, I embarked on my journey to create a line of skin care products using this silver carp collagen along with all the other ingredients that were compatible. I tested these products on my actors for 3 years. Together we created Aiona Alive. Not animal tested. Actor tested!
