This is definitely not an ix500 upgrade What a disappointment. I am returning my scanner after realizing the software that comes with the ix1500 appears to be written completely differently than what I was using with the ix500. As someone else mentioned, it appears to be written by another team of programmers. I find it more cumbersome and not as user-friendly.
