Comparison of this US version vs. the Japanese version This product was developed for the US market, which leaves less room for the hyaluronic acid because of the retinol, collagen, and emollient oils. This is nice, but I prefer the Japanese version I’m nearly 60 with dry, sensitive skin. Before this I’ve been using the Hadalabo JAPAN Skin Institute Gokujun premium hyaluronic solution 170mL, also sold here on Amazon, made by the same company….The Japanese version of this serum doesn’t have all the same ingredients; I believe it has more versions of the hyaluronic acid and no retinol complex. For Young-Looking Skin Iâve been using this serum for several years now, mostly in the summer. (In winter, I need a heavier cream to protect against the cold and wind).
