Great (In concept)…not so much in reality! I bought this to replace a Ninja with thermal carafe that never really delivered a hot cup of coffee. The Melitta type of filters seem to make the best coffee, so that went into the search for a new coffee maker. Easy access was another plus. After a couple of weeks, we have not had one pot of coffee without grounds floating in it! Design Flaw This is my 3rd Hamilton Beach coffee maker in about 5 years time. They’re cheap, I get it. But this one has a serious design flaw. The cone filter area is not round at the top. For whatever reason, they decided to make it oval shaped. I normally use a reusable metal cone filter.
