The World’s First Universal Video Rig-Sevenoak MicRig video and audio grip is designed to work with DSLRs, Camcorders, Gopros and Smartphones to create high quality video recordings. Unlike traditional, heavy, video handles and recording equipments,this grip combines both audio and video functions for less than half the weight, effectively relieving fatigue-especially on long shoots. The MicRig combines a built-in stereo microphone, which provides high-quality audio pick-up while shooting, with the versatility of a low-angle grip and top-mounted, universal cold shoe for attaching accessories like LED lights and LCD monitors.

THE MICROPHONE ALONE IS WORTH PAYING UNDER $60.00 The microphone is worth this price under 60 dollars, in fact I bought a couple of theses and sawed off the microphone to use on various camcorders.I could not find a similar quality stand alone microphone at this price not even from the manufacture.
Pretty solid build and functionality I was so excited when this finally arrived. I’ve been playing with it for weeks and haven’t put it down. It’s like my new toy. The mic is even pretty good quality. Even hook it up to my pc to record music with it and I have a much clearer vocal sound that before.I was shocked when I heard the sound output it was capable of when indoors. I’ve yet to put it to a full test of recording while outside but I’ve done some test inside with the tv, fan, and air conditioning going, but wasn’t so impressed. I could hear my voice over everything but it still sounded like I was standing some feet away though I was holding the mic just a couple of inches from my face. I’ve even put a mic sponge on it to block some pops and it works perfectly. I’ve thought about modifying it to hold my led flashlight but I found some mounts online when I may not have to. Looking to buy another stablizer without a mic to add a Rode shotgun mic for more serious commercial recording but this works for my…
Easy to handle, and will take some weight. I Love this little unit!Have found that Sevenoak makes some pretty high quality gear at decent affordable prices.Works exactly as advertised. Microphone is great to have, and a pretty good one for the price, but I don’t always use it. Sometimes will just add music instead. The whole unit itself is very sturdy, and easy to maneuver. Have used with various cameras of different weights.Used with Action Cams, small point and shoots, Canon EOS M3, & Nikon D3500. And it will handle the weight of my Nikon EOS D5 Mk 2. Great addition to my gear stash! Highly Recommended!!!
