Great gift idea Great gift idea. Nice size for the brightness. Keep in mind that using an 14500 battery does give you an even brighter light and some heat on the high setting so consider the low setting if your going to use it for more than a few minutes. That low setting with a 14500 battery is about the same light brightness as a high setting with an AA battery.Update: I still love this flashlight. Small, but bright Very bright for such a small flashlight. Fits in the palm of my hand, or easily in my pocket, and has a clip. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed! Received today, 2/13/18. Tested all six when received. Three out of the entire six-pack are non-working on arrival. One of the remaining three works when it wants to, so two are working out of the total six. Typical subpar imported product. Need “reliable” flashlights”. Obviously these do not fit that criteria.
