Solid & Easy to Install I purchased a battery powered mirror here on Amazon because I didn’t think I would like a corded one, but promptly returned it as the light did not work. After researching many wall-mounted lighted mirrors, I decided to give this one a try mainly because the price was not outrageous and it had all the features I was looking for. I was hesitant to order based on the negative reviews, however I am SO GLAD I bought this one! I really love this mirror! The light and magnification (5x) is perfect for me (Good Lord, I don’t think I would want the 8x or 10x – YIKES!) No Quality Control Do not buy this product.If I could give this product 0 stars I certainly would. This is the SECOND defective product I have received. Both had the same failure, the light switch did not work. Rather than go through the process of returning this thing a second time I fixed it myself, but it is very clear that these products were never tested at the factory in China or after arrival here in the US. Very dim with a 25 watt E12 Edison style incandescent … Very dim with a 25 watt E12 Edison style incandescent light bulb. I ordered a 6 watt LED E12 bulb for it and it still isnât bright enough, just ordered a 15 watt LED E12 and weâll see if that fixes the problem. Had to use washers to shim the mounting nuts otherwise if flexed when mounted to the wall. Had to bend the bracket that holds the bulb to fit the larger LED. I see a dark spot so I will open it back up and bend it some more. It is way way brighter now with this 12 watt e12 LED at 6000kelvin. I posted a picture of the bulbs I tried, the one it came with, the 6watt LED and finally the 12 watt led.After my wife used this for a week or so I realized the large LED bulb may be a problem. The mirror actually rotates around the bulb, the bulb does not spin with it. So I had to bend the bracket the bulb is mounted to even more to make the largest led bulb work.
