Good tool for the unpleasant chore Don’t have a lot of other devices to compare it with, but this is plenty bright and seems well made. It does show up the urine stains pretty well, though there is a trick. Be a couple feet back and at a pretty steep angle to get the best read on the carpet. Also, look from multiple sides. I’m guessing there is some relationship to the carpet nap, but sometimes the stains are only slightly visible from one side, but shine like beacons when on another side.This is not our first cat to…
Nice UV emitter, less white light pollution than any other I’ve tested. I use UV 365nm for skin examinations looking for fungal infections — many many LED UV sources emit 365nm light, but also radiate a lot of light in lower wavelengths making it hard to see faint fluorescence from the infection. The light from Ozzy Paws is much cleaner, plenty of 365nm with less pollution from other frequencies. Solid, pocketable and the price is right.
